California Avocado Deviled Eggs

Here is one more recipe from the California-themed party, and many of our guests thought this was one of the best deviled egg recipes they had ever tasted. Kudos to the California Avocado Growers once again! Here’s the link.

In case you are interested, deviled eggs got their name in the 18th Century because of the association with spices, especially spicy mustards. Some conservative church organizations refused to call this appetizer “deviled” eggs because of the reference to Satan. Instead, the eggs were described as “salad” or “dressed” eggs. Whatever you call them, we call these deviled eggs beautiful and delicious!
