Country Mustard Rubbed Pork Chops

If you are looking for a simple grilling recipe for pork chops, this is it. We have made this recipe from Sandra Lee on Food Network several times, and not only is it simple, it is essentially foolproof. Here is the link we use.

We have used herbes de Provence and a Penzey blend called Sunny Paris.

If there is a secret to grilling these or any other pork chop recipe, we suggest you guard against overcooking. Many people are worried about sickness from undercooked pork, and of course, we do not suggest pork sushi. But overcooked pork is about as appetizing as shoe leather. Just turn the pork chops once, watch for color change, and grill one extra pork chop so you can cut into it to check when it is cooked through. If you have a grill meat thermometer or infrared thermometer, so much the better. Bon appetit!
